The Hotel
The hotel is located in the woods of the Val Fiorentina, within short walking distance of Selva di Cadore’s town-centre, and of the network of ski slopes in the Civetta area (using the Pescul cable lift). All this at the foot of Monte Pelmo, where nature remains intact.
It is a perfect starting point for walks and hikes into the heart of the Dolomites, within easy reach of the nearby Cortina D’Ampezzo.
Our Hotel is particularly suitable for small groups, the family atmosphere and thorough cleaning are our merit . The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all with terrace ( except single rooms) .
The hotel is located in an absolutely peaceful and quiet, with great views of the Marmolada and on the ski slopes of Val Fiorentina.
At the foot of Mount Pelmo, in an unspoilt natural environment is the basis for walking and hiking in the Dolomites, and provides convenient access to the nearby Cortina d’Ampezzo. During the stay it is available at the request babysitting.

A Yamaha piano is available and guests can make use of it for their daily exercise or for an informal exhibition.
Why Mondeval
The hotel takes its name from the location of Mondeval, the place where in 1986 were discovered the remains of a Mesolithic settlement and the skeleton of a hunter who now takes the name of “Man of Mondeval”
